The Candidate of the Labour Party in the February 20th Kogi Central
Senatorial Rerun Election, Hon Kabiru Atta has called on all and sundry
to support Senator Ahmed Ogembe in moving the district forward.
Kabiru Atta made the statement on Thursday, when he paid Senator Ahmed Ogembe a courtesy visit at his National Assembly office.
It could be recalled that Senator Ahmed Ogembe of the Peoples Democratic
Party, emerged winner of the keenly contested Senatorial election
re-run in Kogi Central.
He urged stakeholders and other senatorial candidates that contested the
re-run election to put aside their differences and work together to
bring the needed presence of government to the people.
He said: "It is time to put aside our difference in the interest of our
constituency. What is important now is how we can work together to bring
the much needed government presence which has eluded our people for
years"
Hon. Atta expressed confidence in the ability of Senator Ogembe to attract Federal presence to Kogi Central Senatorial District.
